Rambam family

The Rambam family is a Romanian family from Bucharest. The family is known for its role in biological research, waste-service work, and organised criminal activity in Romania.

The family’s later history is mainly shaped by Richard Rambam, Iakob Rambam, and Petru Rambam. Richard Rambam founded Snubable Enterprise with Peter Pecker in 1999. Iakob Rambam and Petru Rambam operated Septicsolution and were also involved in criminal activity connected to the Bucharest Butchers.

Origins

The Rambam family developed from an older family line that settled in Romania before the modern surname became established.

The Romanian form Rambamescu was used by Constantin Rambam before the surname was shortened to Rambam.

The family later became established in Bucharest, where its members worked through private businesses, technical labour, and criminal networks.

Bucharest development

In Bucharest, its influence came from biological research and cooperation with criminal groups.

During the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century, members of the family became involved in organisations operating in and around Bucharest. These included Snubable Enterprise, Septicsolution, and the Bucharest Butchers.

Snubable Enterprise

Snubable Enterprise was founded on 14 September 1999 by Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker. It was registered as a private research and development company in Bucharest, but operated as a clandestine research and industrial organisation.

Before the company was formally created, Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker carried out early cloning experiments using improvised laboratory equipment. Their first successful experiment involved the cloning of a stray dog. After this, they expanded their work into larger biological experiments.

In 1999, Richard Rambam collected DNA, blood, and skin samples from Alexandru Ionuț. This became the basis for the first human cloning attempts and later developed into the A-Series program.

In 2007, the Bucharest Butchers became the parent organisation of Snubable Enterprise. From that point, the company operated under Butchers control. The Butchers provided financing, security, transport routes, and enforcement.

Snubable Enterprise ceased operations on 1 May 2025 after Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker were captured and executed in Bucharest.

Septicsolution

Septicsolution was a waste-service business operated by Iakob Rambam and Petru Rambam.

The company carried out septic tank servicing, slurry transport, and waste-related work in Romania. Its vehicles, work sites, and disposal routes made it useful for practical operations connected to the family.

Septicsolution formed the service and waste-handling side of the family’s activity. It was separate from the biological research carried out through Snubable Enterprise.

Bucharest Butchers

Members of the Rambam family were involved with the Bucharest Butchers, a criminal organisation based in Bucharest.

Richard Rambam held the rank of Legion Commander in the organisation. Petru Rambam held the rank of Bloodhound. Iakob Rambam held the rank of Shadow Stalker.

Through these roles, members of the family took part in the wider Butchers structure. The organisation controlled protection, transport, enforcement, and criminal infrastructure used by Snubable Enterprise after 2007.

The Bucharest Butchers collapsed in May 2025 after the loss of senior leadership and the dismantling of its network.

Later status

The major organisations linked to the family were no longer active after 2025. Snubable Enterprise ceased operations on 1 May 2025. The Bucharest Butchers were dismantled in the same period.

The family’s later status is defined by the collapse of these organisations and the deaths or removal of several figures linked to its main operations.
