Valeriu Petrescu (27 September 1998 – 18 June 2024), also known as "Dirty" and the "Drunk Dog of Bucharest", was a Romanian criminal figure and operative in Porno Bucharest, an internal department of the Bucharest Butchers. He was the son of Dorin Petrescu, the department's main field commander. Valeriu was attributed with 28 killings and 47 abductions across Europe. He rose through Porno Bucharest at a young age through his father's position, his own violence, and his loyalty to the department led by Marku Ionuț.

Early life

[edit | edit source]

Valeriu Petrescu was born on 27 September 1998 in Bucharest, Romania. His father, Dorin Petrescu, was 22 years old at the time of his birth and was serving in the Romanian Land Forces. Valeriu grew up during the period in which Dorin left military service and entered Porno Bucharest under Marku Ionuț.

By his teenage years, Valeriu was already familiar with the guarded properties, drivers, and internal discipline used by Dorin's department. He was treated as Dorin's son inside the department, but was not immediately given command. Marku Ionuț and Dorin first used him in support work to test whether he could follow orders without drawing attention.

Career

[edit | edit source]

Valeriu began working around Porno Bucharest in 2016 at the age of 17. His first duties were limited to courier work, watch duty, vehicle movement, and carrying messages between guards attached to safe houses and recording sites. Dorin kept him close to drivers and security crews rather than giving him open authority.

His role expanded after 2018, when he entered recovery and guard work. He helped guard abducted people during transfers between Bucharest, Ilfov County, and nearby properties used by Porno Bucharest. The work gave him regular contact with Dorin's field structure and established his reputation for following direct orders and using violence when captives resisted.

From 2020 onward, Valeriu was used against families selected by the department because women or girls in the household had been targeted for abduction. These cases included abductions, rape, unlawful imprisonment, and the killing of relatives who resisted or tried to contact police. He also took part in house entries where families were killed and the targeted women or girls were taken to Porno Bucharest properties.

In 2022, Valeriu was given command over younger guards and support workers at several department-controlled properties. He did not outrank Dorin's senior lieutenants, but he became one of the younger men trusted to manage a site when Dorin or a senior field commander was absent. His rise was helped by Dorin's authority and by the department's need for younger operatives who could move between assignments without questioning orders.

During 2023, Valeriu worked security around recording locations, storage movements, and cross-border travel used by Porno Bucharest in Romania and other parts of Europe. He helped enforce discipline among guards, drivers, and lower-ranking members, and was used in family-targeted cases when Porno Bucharest wanted to remove relatives before taking selected women or girls from their homes.

Later internal records and post-2024 investigations attributed 28 killings and 47 abductions to Valeriu. He was also tied to multiple victims of sexual violence, human trafficking, and unlawful imprisonment during his work for Porno Bucharest across Europe.

Criminal activities

[edit | edit source]

Valeriu's early crimes were tied to drivers and site security. In 2018, he helped move three abducted people from a property near Bucharest to a guarded house in Ilfov County after Dorin ordered the original site abandoned. During the transfer, Valeriu assaulted one of the captives who tried to escape and later took part in guarding the replacement site.

In 2020, Valeriu was used in a family-targeted case against a household in which a young woman had been selected by Porno Bucharest. The family was taken from their home and held at a department-controlled site outside Bucharest. Valeriu helped separate the family members, assaulted two of them, and took part in the killing of relatives who resisted. The targeted woman was then moved into the department's custody. The case marked his move from guard work into direct abduction and punishment assignments.

In 2021, he took part in forced entries against homes where women or girls had been selected for seizure by Porno Bucharest. One case in Popești-Leordeni targeted a family with two daughters. Valeriu helped force entry into the home, restrained several relatives, and assisted in moving the daughters to a Porno Bucharest safe house after other family members were killed. The case was later included among the crimes that tied him to unlawful imprisonment and human trafficking.

By 2022, Valeriu was being trusted with direct authority. He supervised younger guards at an Ilfov County recording site where several victims were being held. During that period, he ordered assaults against captives who resisted instructions and helped enforce sexual violence carried out under the department's control. His role at the site made him one of the younger operatives directly connected to both guarding and abuse inside Porno Bucharest properties.

In 2023, Valeriu was involved in the killing of a family near Voluntari during a case in which a young woman was taken from the household. He helped arrange the movement of the surviving captive from Bucharest and took part in the killings before the bodies were moved away from the site. The incident strengthened his position under Dorin and confirmed his use in assignments that required both abduction and disposal work.

Personal life

[edit | edit source]

Valeriu was described inside Porno Bucharest as a heavy drinker and alcoholic. The nicknames "Dirty" and "Drunk Dog of Bucharest" were used by members of the Bucharest Butchers and Porno Bucharest to refer to his reputation, alcoholism, and violence. His alcohol abuse made him unreliable during several assignments, but Dorin's position protected him from discipline that would have been imposed on lower-ranking members.

Later investigations also tied Valeriu personally to repeated sexual assaults against victims before they were moved into Porno Bucharest custody. These acts were recorded as part of the wider pattern of rape, abduction, and unlawful imprisonment attributed to the department.

Ambush against Petru Ionuț

[edit | edit source]

On 18 June 2024, Marku Ionuț sent Valeriu to Hollywood, Los Angeles, with orders to kill Petru Ionuț and abduct Silvia Wilson. The order followed Petru's refusal to surrender control of his California criminal network and Marku's earlier contact with Wilson during a visit to Hollywood.

Valeriu entered Petru's penthouse above his Hollywood casino and fought Petru at close range. During the fight, Wilson struck Valeriu in the head with a bottle, stunning him. Petru then overpowered Valeriu and killed him by repeatedly punching him.

Valeriu's death became part of the wider conflict between Petru Ionuț and Marku Ionuț. After the killing, Marku promised Dorin Petrescu revenge against Petru. In reality, Marku's main motive remained anger over his failure to take control of Petru's California network.

Legacy

[edit | edit source]

Valeriu's death deepened Dorin Petrescu's loyalty to Marku Ionuț during the internal crisis of 2024. Dorin continued to support Marku and remained active in Porno Bucharest after the Hollywood ambush.

After the collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen and the replacement of governments connected to its network, Silvia Wilson was not convicted for her part in Valeriu's death. Valeriu was treated as a high-profile criminal who had entered the penthouse during an attempted killing and abduction.
