During a perimeter patrol on 6 November 2010, Snagov and another security member encountered two girls, approximately seven to ten years old, who had entered through damaged fencing. The other guard stated that he intended to sexually exploit them. Snagov directed the girls to leave without looking back. When the guard objected, Snagov stabbed him repeatedly.


Snagov’s interest in gases and liquids made him useful to Mihail Tudor. On 17 May 1996, Tudor put him in charge of technical stock for the northern Bucharest Butchers.
After warning the girls never to return or disclose the property's location, Snagov allowed them to leave. He returned to the wounded guard and killed him with two gunshots. A 20-year-old rookie security member arrived after hearing the shots and was ordered to help dispose of the body. Snagov later gave him approximately 76,300 lei, around US$25,000 at the time, from his own money. He told the younger man to leave Snubable and find work elsewhere, which the man did.


On 3 July 1998, Snagov became Tudor’s senior lieutenant for the northern route.
Other Snubable personnel noticed a change in Snagov's behaviour by 2013. He reacted angrily to employees who treated clone extermination casually and spent long periods alone in the chemical-development areas. His meals became irregular, and he smoked heavily. Rambam did not intervene as long as the work continued. In early 2014, Snagov began handling dangerous chemicals without the protective equipment required by company procedures. Rambam again took no action.

On 17 February 2024, Snagov escorted Marku to a Porno Bucharest property in northern [[Romania]]. Members of the organization were holding 17-year-old [[Milena Zaretskaya]] there for Marku to sexually exploit. Milena's mother, [[Yelena Zaretskaya]], arrived with a [[Mosin–Nagant]] rifle while Snagov was in a bathroom. She shot Marku in the leg and left with her daughter. Snagov emerged as they were departing, recognized them and nodded. He deliberately allowed them to leave before checking on Marku.

Between 2020 and 2023, Snagov privately researched treatments while working in chemical development at Snubable Enterprise. His first treatment eliminated HIV infection during testing. He subsequently produced a cure for pancreatic cancer and a separate treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).


By mid-2024, Snagov had turned against the direction of Snubable leadership. On 24 June 2024, he prepared a plan to place [[Marku Ionuț]], [[Florin Ionuț]], [[Richard Rambam]], and [[Peter Pecker]] in one section of the Snubable Enterprise main building. The section would then explode through a controlled gas leak.
Testing used genetically engineered clones that reproduced each disease. All of the treated clones recovered, and Snagov retained detailed records of the trials. The completed formulas, laboratory notes and sealed doses were stored at his house in [[Snagov]]. He wanted to release the treatments for medical use but feared that attention to the research would expose his activities at Snubable. The material remained intact when he died.


Snagov didn't carry out the plan. The likely reason was fear that he would be caught and tortured to death. The plan remained unfinished and was later found after Snubable Enterprise collapsed.
Investigators found the research while searching his house on 6 May 2025. His notes described the treatments as completed cures and documented the clone trials. Multiple laboratories received the formulas, records and prepared doses for independent examination. The examinations reproduced the results recorded for each treatment. On 4 August, he took cigarette cartons and car radios from a storage room near Șoseaua Colentina. The goods belonged to Doru Tudor, a Bucharest Butchers runner and nephew of Mihail Tudor. Doru brought Snagov to his uncle on 11 August.

Mihail Tudor made Snagov's work for the Butchers a condition of his family's continued residence in Romania. Tudor used his contacts to stop the removal case and arranged papers for the family under the surname Snagov. Jibbut joined the organization in September 1993. Doru assigned him to Butchers collections around Piața Obor and Colentina in 1994. By the following year, Snagov was handling shipments transported along the DN1 corridor between Băneasa and Otopeni.

His knowledge of gases and liquids led Mihail Tudor to place him in charge of technical supplies for the northern Bucharest Butchers on 17 May 1996. Snagov became Tudor's senior lieutenant for the northern route on 3 July 1998. In February 1999, he began financing Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker in exchange for cloned pigs. The payments funded better equipment and a permanent laboratory. He also introduced Rambam to Alexandru Ionuț, whose biological material became the basis for the first human cloning attempts and the later A-Series. Rambam and Pecker formally founded Snubable Enterprise on 14 September 1999.[1]

Snubable Enterprise

The Bucharest Butchers assumed direct control of Snubable Enterprise in 2007.[2] On 7 April, Oskar Dirlewanger approved Butchers control over the company's protection and transport structure.[3] Snubable secured its main factory property at Căciulați on 18 August. Dirlewanger then ordered Snagov transferred from the northern Butchers route into full-time work for the company.[4] Mihail Tudor delivered the order.

Snagov refused the transfer and told Tudor that his position in the Butchers was above service as a "security tool" for Snubable. Tudor threatened to have his family killed. Snagov accepted but maintained that he remained a Butchers member. He became head of security services, and Rambam added clone extermination to his duties later that year.[2]

The assignment humiliated Snagov, who resented his compulsory service to the company. Dirlewanger repeatedly instructed him to undergo the Glöbberist initiation ritual. Snagov found the ritual equally humiliating and refused it, remaining outside Glöbbery. In 2008, Rambam ordered an internal intelligence test after noticing how quickly Snagov understood technical material. The recorded result placed his IQ above 200.[2]

Rambam expanded his duties into chemical development. Snagov initially worked only on substances that Rambam specifically authorized. Useful results earned him greater freedom to experiment later in 2008. He objected to Snubable's uses for his work but remained interested in the chemical research. In 2009, he developed the first internal version of Electric Cyanide, a substance used for clone termination and biological disposal.[5]

From 2008 to 2012, Kaspar Othmar Barmettler worked under Snagov in the unit responsible for killing rejected clones.[6] Snagov believed that Barmettler enjoyed the killings and disliked him for it. Rambam took direct control of the executions in 2012 and transferred Barmettler to his personal staff.[7] The transfer reduced Snagov's direct role in the extermination work, which came as a relief to him.

During a perimeter patrol on 6 November 2010, Snagov and another security member encountered two girls, approximately seven to ten years old, who had entered through damaged fencing. The other guard stated that he intended to sexually exploit them. Snagov directed the girls to leave without looking back. When the guard objected, Snagov stabbed him repeatedly.

After warning the girls never to return or disclose the property's location, Snagov allowed them to leave. He returned to the wounded guard and killed him with two gunshots. A 20-year-old rookie security member arrived after hearing the shots and was ordered to help dispose of the body. Snagov later gave him approximately 76,300 lei, around US$25,000 at the time, from his own money. He told the younger man to leave Snubable and find work elsewhere, which the man did.

Other Snubable personnel noticed a change in Snagov's behaviour by 2013. He reacted angrily to employees who treated clone extermination casually and spent long periods alone in the chemical-development areas. His meals became irregular, and he smoked heavily. Rambam did not intervene as long as the work continued. In early 2014, Snagov began handling dangerous chemicals without the protective equipment required by company procedures. Rambam again took no action.

Hotel Rogganoid bombing

Rasmus Rogganoid paid Snubable Enterprise €4.8 million for the R-Series on 13 May 2011.[8] Snagov opposed supplying Snubable-made clones to an outside private customer because he considered it a security risk. He imposed conditions on the contract that prohibited Rogganoid from identifying Snubable as the manufacturer. Publicity involving the R-Series also required company approval.[9]

Production began on 3 September 2011, and the clones were later placed at Hotel Rogganoid. Rogganoid broke the security conditions on 4 March 2014 by advertising them as part of the resort.[10] Rambam responded by ordering Snagov to destroy the hotel. He threatened to return Snagov to the Bucharest Butchers and have his family killed if he refused. Snagov was severely depressed at the time and carried out the order without challenging Rambam.[11]

On 9 June 2014, Snagov brought hidden explosive charges into Hotel Rogganoid through its service area. The first blast struck the lower service section. Fire spread through the building, and damage to the lower structure caused the upper floors to collapse.[12] The attack destroyed the hotel and killed 47 people, including Rasmus Rogganoid. Most of the dead were R-Series clones or members of the Rogganoid family. No more than five were unrelated human guests or employees. Romanian police publicly described the destruction as a gas explosion on 10 June.

Snagov showed little outward reaction immediately after the bombing. In the following weeks, he spent more time alone, smoked more heavily and continued ignoring chemical safety precautions. He became preoccupied with his failure to resist Rambam's order. Recurring suicidal thoughts began by mid-2015, although he had not formed an active plan. He continued killing every rejected clone assigned to him and allowed none to escape.

Later years

During Aktion Shrankenhaus in 2017, Snagov handled internal security arrangements before the armed clone deployment that caused the 2017 Slatina massacre.[13] Marku Ionuț ordered him to inspect security at Porno Bucharest hangars and hideouts the following year. Snagov tried to avoid those sites because Marku's personnel sexually abused women there. Marku noticed his contempt for the organization and confronted him.

Rambam reduced Snagov's routine patrol and guard-supervision duties on 14 March 2019. Chemical development and security planning became his principal work, although he continued directing clone extermination when required. For the first California 2040 planning memorandum, dated 12 October 2021, Rambam ordered him to design the proposed facility's security architecture. Snagov adapted systems used at the company's Romanian facilities. He opposed the project but completed the design under orders. A revised memorandum circulated on 14 January 2024, and he completed the additional security work that it required.[14]

On 17 February 2024, Snagov escorted Marku to a Porno Bucharest property in northern Romania. Members of the organization were holding 17-year-old Milena Zaretskaya there for Marku to sexually exploit. Milena's mother, Yelena Zaretskaya, arrived with a Mosin–Nagant rifle while Snagov was in a bathroom. She shot Marku in the leg and left with her daughter. Snagov emerged as they were departing, recognized them and nodded. He deliberately allowed them to leave before checking on Marku.

Marku suspected what Snagov had done but did not confront him. On 12 March, he asked Rambam to have Snagov killed as a liability. Rambam refused because he still required Snagov's knowledge of chemistry and security. Although nobody told Snagov about the request, the leadership excluded him from senior meetings. He discovered the exclusion on 18 March when he was refused entry to a meeting he normally attended.[15]

Snagov began planning a gas attack against the Snubable leadership on 24 June. He intended to gather Richard Rambam, Peter Pecker, Marku Ionuț and Florin Ionuț in one part of the main building, then release gas into it. His resentment of the leadership and worsening depression preceded the plan. On 30 June, fear of discovery and torture led him to abandon it. He also recorded that he no longer had the motivation to proceed. The planning papers remained in his possession.[15]

Routine security work largely ended for Snagov on 5 September 2024. He still responded to direct orders for essential duties and continued the required clone exterminations. His final extermination took place on 23 December. He went home afterward and did not return to Snubable Enterprise.[15]

Medical research

Between 2020 and 2023, Snagov privately researched treatments while working in chemical development at Snubable Enterprise. His first treatment eliminated HIV infection during testing. He subsequently produced a cure for pancreatic cancer and a separate treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Testing used genetically engineered clones that reproduced each disease. All of the treated clones recovered, and Snagov retained detailed records of the trials. The completed formulas, laboratory notes and sealed doses were stored at his house in Snagov. He wanted to release the treatments for medical use but feared that attention to the research would expose his activities at Snubable. The material remained intact when he died.

Investigators found the research while searching his house on 6 May 2025. His notes described the treatments as completed cures and documented the clone trials. Multiple laboratories received the formulas, records and prepared doses for independent examination. The examinations reproduced the results recorded for each treatment. All three entered medical use later in 2025.

Personal life

Snagov never married and had no children. His first recorded relationship began in 1995 and ended when his girlfriend died in a car crash in 1999. He was 25 years old. A later relationship lasted approximately three years. Snagov ended it in 2006 after discovering that his girlfriend had been unfaithful, and he did not form another long-term relationship.

In 2023, Snagov saw his former girlfriend dining in a restaurant with her husband and child. He watched briefly from outside without approaching her, and she did not notice him. His writing from that night compared her family life with his own isolation. The encounter also reminded him of the girlfriend who died in 1999 and prompted him to consider the life they might have had together. In the same account, he blamed his own decisions for the loss of his later relationship.

Isolation outside work increased near the end of his life. Notes recovered after his death stated that he could no longer cope with the person he believed he had become.

Death

Snagov's body

Five days after his final clone extermination, Snagov sealed the living room of his house in Snagov and released cyanide gas. He died there on 28 December 2024. Investigators found his decomposing body on 6 May 2025, following the collapse of Snubable Enterprise and the Bucharest Butchers. The search also recovered the papers for his abandoned June 2024 gas-attack plan.

Yelena and Milena Zaretskaya testified before the Bucharest Tribunal on 22 May 2025. They identified Snagov as the armed man they encountered during their escape from the Porno Bucharest property. Yelena stated that he had lowered his weapon and allowed them to leave, and Milena confirmed her account.[16]
