Mircea Rambam (22 January 1956 – 7 September 2021) was a Romanian structural ironworker from Slatina. He was the father of Richard Rambam, the brother of Viktor Rambam and Elena Rambam, and a friend of Paul Pecker. He helped Richard Rambam financially during his early work before Snubable Enterprise became fully established.
Early life
[edit | edit source]Mircea Rambam was born in Slatina, Olt County, Romania, on 22 January 1956. His father was Nicolae Rambam, and his mother was Mariana Popescu. He grew up in Slatina with his siblings, Viktor Rambam and Elena Rambam.
Rambam grew up in a household linked to local bar work and simple trade work. He later moved into metal construction work and became a structural ironworker.
Career
[edit | edit source]Mircea Rambam worked as a structural ironworker from 1974 until his death in 2021. His work involved steel frames, iron beams, support plates, metal stairs, gates, roofs, workshop structures, and repairs on storage buildings.
He worked around Slatina, Colacu, and other parts of southern Romania. His jobs were mostly practical trade jobs for workshops, farms, small industrial yards, and private buildings.
Rambam earned enough through ironwork to support his son, Richard Rambam. He helped Richard with money, old tools, metal parts, rent, and early equipment. This support became part of Richard's early background before and during the first development of work later connected to Snubable Enterprise.
Personal life
[edit | edit source]Mircea Rambam was the son of Nicolae Rambam and Mariana Popescu. He had two siblings, Viktor Rambam and Elena Rambam.
He had one documented child, Richard Rambam. Richard later lived around Colacu, where he knew Peter Pecker from childhood.
Mircea Rambam was friends with Paul Pecker, the father of Peter Pecker. Their families were connected through Colacu and the local contacts around Richard Rambam and Peter Pecker.
Death
[edit | edit source]On 7 September 2021, Mircea Rambam died in a car crash on the A1 motorway near Pitești, Argeș County. He was speeding when his car reached a semi-truck with a trailer in the same lane. He failed to brake in time and hit the rear of the trailer.
Rambam died at the crash site. His death took place before the collapse of Snubable Enterprise in 2025.
