North America

From the Vrienden Universe, a fictional wiki

North America is a continent in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Western Hemisphere. It is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, and South America to the southeast through the isthmian region of Central America.

In standard geography, North America includes Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Greenland, and surrounding islands. The continent contains many climates and landscapes, including Arctic regions, boreal forests, plains, mountain ranges, deserts, tropical areas, coastal zones, river systems, and large urban regions.

In modern political and criminal history, North America is mainly relevant through the United States, especially California, Los Angeles, and Hollywood. The continent did not form a single political unit and was not occupied by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. Its importance came from state-level politics, transport routes, financial systems, criminal networks, and planning documents connected to foreign influence and organized crime.

Geography

[edit | edit source]

North America extends from the Arctic region in the north to the narrow land connection with South America in the south. The continent includes large mainland areas, island groups, coastal shelves, inland plains, mountain systems, and major river basins.

The western side of the continent is shaped by the Pacific coast and mountain chains including the Rocky Mountains, the Sierra Nevada, and other ranges. The eastern side is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and includes coastal lowlands, older mountain regions, ports, and large population centers. The central part contains plains, agricultural regions, river corridors, and major transport routes.

The continent includes several important maritime regions. The Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, the North Atlantic coast, the Pacific coast, and Arctic waters all shaped settlement, trade, migration, naval movement, and later logistical planning.

Early history

[edit | edit source]

North America was inhabited by many Indigenous peoples long before European colonization. These societies developed many forms of settlement, trade, agriculture, hunting, fishing, political organization, and cultural life across the continent.

From the late 15th century onward, European colonization reshaped the continent through settlement, warfare, forced displacement, trade systems, plantation economies, missionary activity, and the formation of colonial governments. Over time, several independent states emerged, including the United States, Mexico, and Canada, while many Caribbean and island territories followed separate colonial and post-colonial paths.

By the 19th and 20th centuries, North America had become one of the major centers of industrial development, migration, finance, military planning, and international trade.

Political geography

[edit | edit source]

North America contains sovereign states, dependent territories, federal systems, local governments, and island administrations. The United States became the most important North American state in later global politics because of its economic, military, technological, and diplomatic influence.

Canada and Mexico remained separate states with their own political systems, economies, and regional roles. Central America and the Caribbean formed additional political and maritime zones connected to trade, migration, security, tourism, and external influence.

The continent was never administered as a single authority by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. Tanoan activity connected to North America was indirect and operated through liaison routes, planning files, corrupt intermediaries, maritime channels, and external contacts rather than open territorial rule.

United States and California

[edit | edit source]

The United States is the main North American setting connected to documented late-period events. In January 2025, the United States entered the Federal Collapse Crisis after classified files connected to the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen became public. Federal authority was restored in February 2025 after emergency constitutional measures.

California became the most important North American state in later investigations. Recovered documents identified the state as a possible staging area for a Tanoan intervention if federal authority remained fragmented. The plan did not move beyond contingency planning, and no confirmed Tanoa military landing occurred.

California was important because of its Pacific coastline, ports, airports, technology sector, entertainment industry, population size, political importance, and existing criminal infrastructure. The main connected urban area was Los Angeles, with Hollywood serving as the center of the Bucharest Butchers' California branch.

Bucharest Butchers operations

[edit | edit source]

The Bucharest Butchers expanded into North America in 1999, when Emil Mătăsăreanu established a criminal structure in Los Angeles connected to the organization's wider network. The early operation focused on robbery, weapons movement, cash handling, storage, vehicles, and logistical support.

The branch remained semi-autonomous during the 2000s. In 2013, Andrei Ionuț ordered its consolidation under direct Bucharest Butchers command. Petru Ionuț and Iakob Ionuț were sent to Hollywood to take control of the structure. Under Petru Ionuț, the California branch expanded into illegal gambling, money laundering, weapons procurement, smuggling, fraud, political corruption, and protection rackets.

By the early 2020s, the California branch had become the most valuable North American structure controlled by the Bucharest Butchers. Its main base was Petru Ionuț's casino complex near Hollywood. The branch used local guards, drivers, cash handlers, private security contacts, corrupt intermediaries, and front businesses.

In 2024, conflict over the California branch became one of the main causes of internal instability in the Bucharest Butchers. Marku Ionuț sought control over the North American structure and viewed Petru Ionuț's authority as an obstacle. Petru was killed by Iakob Ionuț in Hollywood on 21 August 2024. One week later, Marku poisoned Emil Mătăsăreanu with cyanide in Bucharest, removing an older figure connected to the original California branch.

Porno Bucharest and North American ambitions

[edit | edit source]

Porno Bucharest operated primarily in Europe, but during its final years it sought to establish permanent roots in North America. This plan depended on access to overseas routes, safe properties, financial channels, and operational territory controlled by Petru Ionuț in Los Angeles.

Petru refused to allow the transfer of his California assets, routes, and authority to Marku Ionuț. This made North American expansion one of the main points of conflict between the two men. Petru's death removed the main internal barrier to Marku's plan, but the collapse of the Bucharest Butchers and the fall of Tanoa-linked protection prevented the expansion from being completed.

Tanoa-linked planning

[edit | edit source]

The Tanoa Einsatzgruppen did not govern North America as a continental territory. Its North American relevance came through planning documents, liaison systems, criminal intermediaries, political contacts, and proposed infrastructure.

The SS-Großabschnitt Nord-Atlantik coordinated Tanoan activity around North Atlantic routes and contact points, but it did not function as a civilian government over the North Atlantic region or over North America. Its work concerned transport reporting, communication, liaison, and external coordination.

The most important North American planning file was the California 2040 memorandum, which proposed a large underground facility in California connected to Snubable Enterprise, the Bucharest Butchers, and Tanoa-linked officials. The project was intended for clone production, hybrid research, protected storage, and industrial manufacturing. It did not advance beyond strategic planning because of resource shortages, political pressure, internal disagreement, and the weakening of Tanoa-linked protection.

Economy and transport

[edit | edit source]

North America contains some of the world's largest economic regions. Its economy includes finance, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, energy, mining, entertainment, education, tourism, logistics, and international trade.

Transport infrastructure gave the continent major strategic value. Ports on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, airports, highways, rail systems, inland waterways, and border crossings supported legal commerce and also created opportunities for smuggling, money movement, and covert logistics.

Los Angeles was especially important because of its port, airport, entertainment economy, private venues, gambling fronts, and cash-heavy businesses. These conditions allowed the Bucharest Butchers to use parts of the city for laundering, transport, personnel movement, and protected meetings.

Society and population

[edit | edit source]

North America is home to large and diverse populations across cities, rural regions, islands, coastal settlements, border regions, and northern territories. The continent includes many languages, religions, ethnic groups, migration histories, and cultural traditions.

The United States became the main focus of later criminal and political investigations because of its financial networks, state-level corruption cases, and exposure of Tanoa-linked contacts after the 2025 crisis. Other parts of the continent remained relevant through transport, travel, maritime routes, and cross-border movement, but the strongest documented North American concentration was in California.

Edwin Paap is one example of later personal movement between Europe and North America. His travel pattern, black market activity, and weapons-related incidents show the use of North America as a recurring space for irregular movement rather than as a unified criminal territory.

Legacy

[edit | edit source]

North America is significant as the main overseas setting of the Bucharest Butchers' California branch and as the continent where Tanoa-linked planning came closest to a possible intervention in United States territory. The continent was not absorbed into the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen system, and no confirmed Tanoa landing occurred there.

The collapse of the Hollywood branch in 2024 weakened the Bucharest Butchers before the organization's final dismantlement in 2025. Later investigations connected North America to California corruption, Los Angeles criminal finance, Snubable-linked planning, and Tanoa contingency documents.
