Amt für Bevölkerung und Ordnung

Amt für Bevölkerung und Ordnung (English: Office for Population and Order) was a central administrative office of the Government of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. It was responsible for population records, residency regulation, civil documentation, and internal administrative order within territories governed by the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. The office formed part of the regime's wider population administration system. It worked with the Allgemeine SS, the Ordnungspolizei, the Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt, and other administrative bodies to maintain registration records, enforce residency controls, and support internal regulation. Its work was closely connected to compulsory documentation systems such as the Neger Buch, which was used to record and monitor native inhabitants of Tanoa and other people classified under the regime's population policies.
