Aurel Guggenheim (3 June 1964 – 17 September 2025) was a Swiss-Romanian Jewish biologist, physiologist and philanthropist who worked for Snubable Enterprise and Glöbbery. He served two terms as Head of A-Series Production and directed California 2040 from 2022 to 2024. Before joining Snubable, he worked with Arnold Burgelstein in Basel, received a doctorate in physiology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and became a Senior Scientist at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Guggenheim participated in unauthorized human experimentation at the Rheintor Medical Institute and remained an adviser to Burgelstein while pursuing his academic career in Israel. After joining Snubable in 2007, he supervised industrial A-Series production at Căciulați. Recordings recovered after the collapse of the Bucharest Butchers documented his rape and sexual abuse of trafficked minors supplied through Porno Bucharest. The Bucharest Tribunal convicted him of multiple counts of rape, sexual abuse of minors, crimes against humanity and participation in an organized criminal group on 15 September 2025. He was executed by firing squad two days later.
Early life and education
[edit | edit source]Guggenheim was born in Bucharest on 3 June 1964. His father was a Swiss Jewish pharmacist who had trained in Switzerland and worked in Bucharest, while his mother was a Romanian Jewish laboratory physician. Both were Glöbberists. In 1974, they sent him to Haus Morgenstern, a small Glöbberist residential school in Glöbbelharttal, Switzerland. He remained there until 1982 and returned to Bucharest during school holidays.
Haus Morgenstern combined ordinary schooling with Glöbberist religious instruction. Guggenheim frequently volunteered for chicken sacrifices and sometimes tried to drink more of the blood than the ritual required, causing staff to stop him. He also carried out crude experiments on live chickens by introducing different liquids and observing their reactions. Around 1978 or 1979, Burgelstein began visiting the school and taught him anatomy, physiology, laboratory observation and record keeping. Guggenheim remained in contact with him after leaving the school and was formally initiated into Glöbbery at the age of eighteen.
Guggenheim entered the University of Basel in 1982 and studied biology with a concentration in animal physiology. His diploma research examined restraint-induced cardiovascular stress in chickens by measuring heart rate, arterial blood pressure, peripheral circulation and blood oxygenation. Staff restricted his access to experimental animals after he repeatedly handled them more harshly than the approved research required, but he completed the project and graduated in 1986. Two papers based on the Basel research were published in 1986 and 1987, with Guggenheim appearing as second author on the first and contributing to a follow-up study of cardiovascular recovery after restraint.
Rheintor Medical Institute
[edit | edit source]After graduating, Guggenheim joined Burgelstein's private laboratory in Basel. He worked there from late 1986 to 1988 on stress physiology and catecholamine research. His work included cardiovascular monitoring, blood collection, blood-gas measurements and the processing of plasma samples for adrenaline and noradrenaline analysis. Burgelstein was already conducting unauthorized experiments on adult psychiatric patients obtained through medical contacts, and Guggenheim assisted with restraint and physiological monitoring during these procedures.
Burgelstein transferred his work to the Glöbbery-controlled Rheintor Medical Institute in 1988. Guggenheim became a Laboratory Physiologist and was promoted to Deputy Laboratory Chief in 1989. He directed staff during experimental sessions and supervised physiological monitoring and sample processing while Burgelstein retained overall authority. The Rheintor Catecholamine Trials later involved captive adults and children. Surviving records identified 312 victims, of whom 117 died during the experiments or from their effects.[1]
Guggenheim took part in blood-extraction experiments on captive children and recorded cardiovascular changes during the procedures. In the later Rheintor period he sometimes consumed blood taken from captives before it was processed, leading staff to call him The Slurper. He formally left the Deputy Laboratory Chief position when he moved to Israel in 1992, but Burgelstein kept him on a restricted internal payroll as an external scientific adviser. Guggenheim reviewed Rheintor data from Israel and returned to Basel several times a year for selected experiments and changes to the institute's protocols.
Academic career in Israel
[edit | edit source]Guggenheim moved to Beersheba in 1992 and began doctoral research at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Fortress Har Admon, Glöbbery's Israeli fortress in the Negev Mountains, served regional financial members and intermediaries.[2] Contacts associated with the fortress introduced Guggenheim to private donors and helped finance part of his research through apparently legitimate channels.
His doctoral work examined cardiovascular and catecholamine responses to acute psychological and physical stress. He received a PhD in physiology in 1996 and moved to the Weizmann Institute of Science as a postdoctoral fellow. Between 1992 and 1998, he contributed to between six and eight additional papers on catecholamine release, blood-pressure responses and physiological recovery after acute stress. He became a Senior Scientist at Weizmann in 1998 and remained there until the end of 2006.
During the same period, Guggenheim invested in Israeli biotechnology, medical-device and life-science companies through financial contacts introduced by Glöbberist intermediaries. Successful investments made him independently wealthy by the early 2000s. He used part of the money to support biomedical fellowships, research equipment and medical research in Israel. His use of adrenochrome, which had begun at Rheintor, became regular during the early 2000s and had developed into severe dependence by about 2004 or 2005.
In 2006, Guggenheim established the Aurel Guggenheim Foundation for Biomedical Research in Switzerland and became its Scientific Director. His formal employment at Weizmann ended on 31 December 2006. When he later moved to Romania, another scientific director took over daily management while Guggenheim remained founder, President of the Foundation Board and principal benefactor.
Snubable Enterprise
[edit | edit source]Burgelstein introduced Guggenheim to Richard Rambam in 2007. Snubable secured a disused metal-processing factory at Căciulați on 18 August for conversion into its main production complex.[3] Guggenheim inspected the property and formally joined Snubable Enterprise on 24 August. He worked on the commissioning of the biological-production areas and incubation systems during the following months.
During an overnight production run on 29 January 2008, temperatures and circulation became unstable in an eastern chamber bank. Guggenheim stopped new loading, isolated the affected chambers and refused a proposal to shut down the unaffected sections. Rambam arrived at about 02:35 after the failures continued. Guggenheim argued that the pattern indicated a shared fault confined to one section and agreed to stop the remaining chambers if the same failure appeared elsewhere. Maintenance staff traced the problem to a temperature-control component. Several developing clones were lost, while the other chamber groups remained operational.
The first underground production block was completed on 11 February 2008.[4] Rambam appointed Guggenheim Head of A-Series Production (Romanian: Șef al Producției A-Series) the same day. Guggenheim controlled the production floor and approved the removal of mature clones from vascular support. After removal, Sorin Spitt and the Clone Medicine staff examined the clone before classification. Paul Norggohole later directed cellular reprogramming, master cell banks and developmental screening, leaving Guggenheim responsible for the production stage itself.
As output increased, production supervisors took over routine shifts and Guggenheim concentrated on abnormal incubations and major equipment failures. By 2020 he spent most of his time at his home in Ghermănești and attended Căciulați when production problems or senior meetings required him. In 2016, he travelled to Tanoa and stayed temporarily at a Vulkane Einsatzgruppen barracks at Mont Tanoa through Glöbberist contacts. He held no position there but watched the treatment and execution of prisoners and later attended a dinner in Georgetown with Gustavo Kleiner.
During Aktion Shrankenhaus in 2017, Guggenheim continued ordinary A-Series production and released mature clones into the assignment pool. He did not select the units used in the operation. By the same year, he had become a client of Porno Bucharest. The department trafficked women and children and retained recordings of clients for distribution and blackmail.[5] Recordings later recovered from Guggenheim's villa and Porno Bucharest archives showed him raping and sexually abusing trafficked minors.
California 2040
[edit | edit source]Guggenheim left his production post in June 2022 to become California 2040 Project Director (Romanian: Director al proiectului California 2040). Peter Pecker took practical control of A-Series production in Romania. Guggenheim moved between Romania and a construction site in the Mojave Desert in San Bernardino County, California, typically travelling on a dedicated Dassault Falcon 7X.
A California-registered front company presented the property as a desert testing site for industrial equipment and materials. Snubable planned an underground biological-production complex beneath it. Under Guggenheim, construction reached the first underground excavation and established surface access and utility infrastructure, but no biological-production areas were fitted and no cloning machinery was installed.
Burgelstein travelled to California in early 2024 and told Guggenheim that Rambam's health was worsening. Guggenheim returned to Romania with him on 12 February and resumed control of A-Series production. A reduced construction crew remained in California to finish basic structural work, while Snubable-specific installation stopped. The site was mothballed in December 2024 after the collapse of the Tanoa Einsatzgruppen. Investigators who entered the property in May 2025 found unfinished underground concrete works and project records but no operational cloning equipment.
Final months and capture
[edit | edit source]After returning to Căciulați, Guggenheim concentrated on maintaining production as equipment failures, shortages and staffing problems increased. During mid-2024, he privately planned to kill Jibbut Snagov by shooting him during an isolated encounter at the complex. He monitored Snagov's movements but never began carrying out the plan, and Snagov's increasingly irregular attendance prevented the intended encounter.
Glöbbery was publicly exposed on 3 December 2024, and financial records recovered during the following months connected the order to foreign transfers and private financial structures.[6] Guggenheim initially remained President of the Aurel Guggenheim Foundation for Biomedical Research. The foundation removed him from its board in early 2025 after its Glöbberist-linked financing came under investigation.
Rambam and Pecker were captured and executed on 1 May 2025. A-Series production ended that day.[7] Guggenheim stopped new incubation starts and supervised the shutdown of the remaining production systems. He remained at Căciulați during the five-day holdout led by Gustav Shrankenhaus, directing technicians as chamber groups were shut down and production records were secured. By 6 May, the production section was largely inactive.
Snubable surrendered on 6 May.[8] Guggenheim remained inside the production area after the general surrender and refused to leave until Fish Collective personnel entered and ordered him out. He surrendered without resistance and was separated from other prisoners because investigators wanted information about A-Series production and California 2040.
Personal life
[edit | edit source]Guggenheim lived alone at a villa in Ghermănești on the eastern side of Lake Snagov. He kept a pet octopus in a large saltwater aquarium and was a long-term chain smoker. His severe adrenochrome dependence continued after he moved to Romania, with Burgelstein and Glöbberist supply channels providing continued access to the drug.
Trial and execution
[edit | edit source]During interrogation, Guggenheim gave detailed information about A-Series systems, production failures, the shutdown of the Căciulați complex and California 2040. He was evasive when questioned about Rheintor, Porno Bucharest and his treatment of clones. A search of his Ghermănești villa recovered Snubable technical files, California plans, A-Series production records, older Rheintor material and Glöbberist correspondence. Investigators also recovered recordings and payment records that matched material found in Porno Bucharest archives.
The seized files contained Guggenheim's notes concerning his plan to kill Snagov. Because he had not begun carrying out the killing, prosecutors did not treat it as attempted murder. Other records showed that he had deliberately mutilated manufactured clones outside medical or production procedures. These acts were not charged as separate assaults because the tribunal did not recognize Snubable-manufactured clones as legal persons.
Proceedings against Guggenheim took place at the Bucharest Tribunal on 15 September 2025. The tribunal convicted him of multiple counts of rape, sexual abuse of minors, crimes against humanity and participation in an organized criminal group. The crimes against humanity conviction concerned his participation in the Rheintor system of captive human experimentation. The sexual convictions were based on recordings and records involving trafficked minors, while the organized-crime conviction covered his senior work for Snubable under Bucharest Butchers control.
Guggenheim was sentenced to death on 15 September. He was executed by firing squad at the tribunal detention compound in Băneasa, Bucharest, on 17 September 2025. The Aurel Guggenheim Foundation for Biomedical Research was dissolved later that year after its Glöbberist-linked financing was examined. Remaining legitimate assets were separated from the affected funds and transferred under supervision.
